CRIS Part 3 - Commercial Auto, Surety, CIPS & Miscellaneous Lines — This course provides an overview of various additional coverage needs of many contractors, including auto liability, professional liability, pollution liability, employment practices liability, directors and officers liability, fiduciary liability insurance, and surety bonds.    

Online Testing
Those students seeking the CRIS designation must take and pass an online test after taking each class. The test is available when the student is ready, allowing additional study time after the course. Those students not seeking the designation are NOT required to test.

Reaccreditation Requirement
Once you earn the right to use the CRIS certification you must engage in an ongoing continuing education process to maintain it. Completing the core curriculum qualifies an individual to use the CRIS certification for 12 months.  To maintain the certification, the CRIS certification holder must complete only 6 hours of CRIS CE credits every 12 months. You may obtain this CE credit by attending approved CRIS courses or conferences or completing online CRIS courses.

Please note: If you hold both the CRIS and MLIS designations, you only need to complete one course, which includes the cost of the class and one voucher. However, you will need to purchase a separate voucher for each designation, as IRMI charges a fee of $99 for each designation and voucher.  You can purchase the additional voucher when registering for this course.
