Agents completing this course will be provided with an overview of contract law relating to insurance policy language and the understanding and interpretation of policy language. Included also will be the rules of reading policies, understanding how to read exclusions and exceptions to exclusions, and interpreting keywords and phrases.

The refresh was an outstanding idea because, with automation being what it is today, we tend to shortcut and rely on the carrier to do our jobs.  This course grounded me back to the basics and I needed it.  I am glad it will be available for all newcomers to the industry.
